RETREAt TERMS & CONDITIONS
RETREAT CONFIRMATION
This retreat will take place only if a minimum of six (6) participants have secured their spot by paying the deposit. Confirmation Date: 1 August 2026
To guarantee your place and have the best choice of rooms, we strongly encourage early booking. Early deposits help us confirm the retreat and ensure it runs smoothly for all participants.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached by 1 August 2026, the retreat will be cancelled and all deposits will be fully refunded. You will be notified by email as soon as the retreat is officially confirmed.
FLIGHTS / TRAVEL
Important: Please do not book flights or other non-refundable travel arrangements until the retreat has been confirmed, to avoid any risk.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
Full payment is required to confirm and secure your place at the retreat. If the remaining balance is not paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
SHARED ROOM POLICY
If you have booked a shared room as a solo traveler and no other participant is available to share rooms, you will be required to upgrade to a single room and pay the applicable price difference prior to the retreat start date.
CANCELLATION BY YOU:
We understand that life can bring unexpected changes. If you need to cancel your retreat booking, please notify Miriam in writing. Your cancellation will take effect on the date your email is received. As organizing the retreat involves advance planning, administrative preparation, and commitments to our venue and partners, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellations Before 1 August 2026:
Full refund, except the non-refundable deposit
Cancellations From 2 August 2026:
50% refund except the non-refundable deposit
Cancellations After 5 December 2026:
The entire retreat fee is non-refundable, as all arrangements and commitments will have been confirmed.
TRANSFER YOUR SPOT
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another participant. If a replacement is found by either you or Miriam, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, minus any bank transfer fees.
ARRIVING LATE / EARLY
To ensure a harmonious experience for all guests, we are unable to issue refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
CANCELLATION BY US
If the retreat is cancelled by Miriam due to business reasons (e.g., insufficient participants or personal illness), all payments including the deposit will be fully refunded.
FORCE MAJURE
We are not responsible for cancellation or changes of dates due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, acts of terrorism, pandemics, government restrictions, political instability, or other force majeure events.
In such cases, we will offer a transfer of funds to a future retreat within 5 years.
Important:
INSURANCE/FLIGHTS/VISAS
Miriam is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred in preparation for a cancelled or postponed retreat, including (but not limited to) flights, visa fees, travel insurance, or loss of income.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment and provide peace of mind.
HEALTH & LIABILITY
By attending the retreat, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in Pilates, yoga, movement, and other activities. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
Miriam and other guest teachers are not liable for:
Injuries or illness occurring during the retreat
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
We may advise against participation in any activity if it appears unsafe.
