IMMERSE YOURSELF - PILATES IN ubud

I can’t wait to share the magic of Bali with you. This intimate Pilates-focused retreat is designed to bring moments of fun, lightness, and play alongside a growing sense of body awareness and confidence in your practice.

During our immersion, you’ll deep-dive into your body and the Pilates system. You’ll learn about your posture, understand your unique alignment, and discover how to apply these teachings in your everyday training. My intention is that you leave feeling inspired and strong, open-hearted and empowered to make choices that truly support your body.

After several trips to Bali, I can honestly say each visit has given me more than I can put into words. No wonder I keep returning. There is something about this island that softens the mind, grounds your spirit and brings a deep sense of gratitude. With frangipani in the air and the jungle all around, you’ll remember that anything is possible.

WECLOME TO THE SHALA BALI

OUR HOME FOR THE WEEK

When I first arrived at The Shala Bali, I was struck by it’s calm, serene energy, nestled among lush green rice fields. Just ten minutes from Ubud center, yet it felt like another world. I remember thinking; this must be the perfect getaway..

Seeing the spacious yoga shala facing the palms made my whole body soften. Close to nature, yet held by the space around it. As I walked around, I saw guests laughing and chatting by the pool, while the kind, welcoming staff guided me through the beautiful villas.

In that moment, I knew I had to return—and bring you with me.

The property unfolds in two areas: traditional Javanese villas set among peaceful gardens near the entrance alongside the Ayurvedic Spa and Indian café, and a second space reached by a path through the rice paddies, where the villa rooms, vegetarian café, 20-meter saltwater infinity pool, and large open-air Yoga Shala await.

Arranging a taxi on arrival can be overwhelming with many drivers at the airport. If you’d like, I can help you set up a pre-booked ride to the retreat space. I can also connect you with other retreat participants arriving at a similar time if you’d like to share a ride.

Please note: Taxis cannot reach the venue itself, as it’s tucked into the rice fields where no vehicles are allowed.
