Take care of your body and mind during the holidays
A workshop where Pilates meets mindful presence. Through flowing sequences we strengthen the body from the inside out, improve posture, and awaken presence, playfulness, and the joy of movement.
The focus is on the deep abdominal muscles, the back and glutes, as well as the fascia — the connective tissue that links the muscles and transfers force throughout the body. We use resistance bands for added challenge and yoga blocks to enhance body awareness.
You are warmly welcome regardless of previous experience. During this workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding of the Pilates technique, along with Miriam’s tips on how to adapt the exercises so you can work at your own level.
We finish with Sound Healing, where you lie down comfortably and rest while the vibrations from Miriam’s singing bowls and chimes guide you into a meditative state beyond time and space.
