TERMS & CONDITIONS

My highest aspiration is for you to have a wonderful and memorable experience — from the first email to the final goodbye hug. As a small, independent business, I put a lot of energy and love into making these retreats a reality. For this reason, I have to set some clear boundaries regarding deposits and cancellations.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 2026:

Deposit & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 2,000 SEK is required upon booking to secure your spot.

  • When you sign up and submit the form, we will confirm your spot and room choice within a few days.

  • The remaining balance is due by 30 January 2026.

  • Bookings made after this date will receive an invoice with the remaining balance upon confirmation.

  • If you have booked a place in shared room and are traveling solo — and there is no other traveler to room you with, then you will be required to pay for a single room.

Cancellation by you / Refund Policy

Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that sometimes things come up beyond your control. While this policy may seem strict, it reflects the non-recoverable payments made in advance to plan the retreat. Also have in mind that as the retreat date gets closer, it becomes harder and harder for us to fill any empty spots left by cancellations. And we don't want anyone to miss out on all the fun!

All cancellations must be confirmed by us in writing to be valid. Exceptions to the refund and cancellation policy cannot be made.

Cancellation Charge:

  • 30 January – 29 March 2026

    50% of the total retreat fee.

  • On or after 30 March 2026

    Full payment of the retreat fee.

  • If you cancel on or after 30 March, and you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another participant (this is something you take care of yourself). Should you become ill or have an emergency, Miriam will do her best to transfer your place to someone if there is a waiting list.

  • The 2,000 SEK deposit is non-refundable in all cases and will be deducted from any refund due according to the above terms.

  • If you arrive late or need to leave the retreat early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.


Retreat cancellation by Miriam

  • I understand that Miriam will only make changes to program dates if it is unavoidable, giving as much notice as possible.

  • If the retreat is cancelled by the organizer for any reason, all payments (including the deposit) will be fully refunded.

  • Please note that we are unable to cover personal expenses such as travel or work-related losses.

Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances, including illness, injury, or natural disasters.

Your Commitment

I understand that although we may discuss life and health issues, Miriam is not a medical doctor, physiotherapist or psycotheraphist and does not give diagnoses. I also understand that I am the only person who can take responsibility for my own long-term wellbeing. Miriam will support you to the best of her ability at all times during this weekend as a professional pilates, yoga and meditation teacher, sound and reiki facilitator.

Final Note

Don’t worry — it’s worth it! While these policies set boundaries, our retreat promises to be a joyful, memorable, and transformative experience.
